England vs Ghana

England took on Ghana at Wembly today, which proved to be a fantastic game as both teams played ferociously against each other, making one forget it was only an International Friendly.

The game went on for a while without any goals being produced by either team, the first half very much on the favor of Fabio Copello's English team. Just before halftime, Andy Carrol was able to put in his first international goal, this being only his second appearance for England's team.

Only a minute into stoppage time in the second half, Asamoah Gyan of Sunderland was able to equalize the game. The Ghana fans went wild at the sight as a good portion of the team jumped over the barriers to celebrate with the fans.

''It was very tough to play England at Wembley,'' Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic said. ''In three days we traveled a lot and I think tonight we did our best.''

They sure did do there best, able to keep up with a much higher ranked team then them. Congratulations goes out to Ghana, able to prove they may have what it takes!
